When can Prenatal Bonding be started?
Dr Raffai, the creator of Bonding Analysis suggested starting around 12-17 weeks of pregnancy, however, I really do think it can be started at any stage of pregnancy. Some people only find out about the method quite far on in pregnancy and some from the first few weeks., but it was beneficial for all. Each mother and baby benefit from Bonding Analysis, so it is for anyone at any stage of pregnancy. Please contact me at any stage and we can talk through your requirements and wishes.

Will my baby really communicate with me?!
Yes! It will be unique to the two of you, and different children of the same mother will communicate differently - because they are different beings!
It will probably take some time, possibly several sessions, for you to be able to understand their messages, because listening to our own body, let alone a new being's consciousness is new to most people! Equally, the baby has to learn their own way of expressing themselves and this might change over the weeks.
You and your baby will be learning to have a conversation with each other, whatever form it will take, but it will be a reciprocated process, that's for sure!

Are there any limitations for who can do Prenatal Bonding?
Any mother wanting to connect to their unborn baby can do Prenatal Bonding.
As long as over the course of time the mother can come to accept that there really is a conscious being inside of them who is able to connect with them, then Prenatal Bonding can be done!

I have previously suffered miscarriages and I am nervous to bond with my current baby. Should I still try Prenatal Bonding?
Yes, please do. Bonding Analysis gives time to helping to grieve past losses and also helps you to try and enjoy your current pregnancy more and helps you to bond with your current baby.

I didn't really want to get pregnant, and I am and I'm not sure I'll be a good mother. I've even had thoughts about ending the pregnancy but have decided to keep my baby, Can Prenatal Bonding help me feel more positive about my pregnancy?
Yes, of course! In any pregnancy, even those that have been really longed for, a mother will feel worries, uncertainties and concerns from time to time. If you were not prepared for the pregnancy and are now worried about impending motherhood, don't worry. The fact you are here looking into connecting with your baby is already a fantastic step and your baby feels the benefit of that. Doing Prenatal Bonding Analysis might help you to feel calmer about the changes in your life. It will help your baby to understand your feelings of potential worry and you might be pleasantly surprised at how understanding your baby will be. Babies are very wise beings and they can actually help you process your own worries. In turn, it will help them to feel part of the world, as the world is not perfect and they do need to learn how to cope with stresses and worries. Any stresses that babies feel in-utero can be explained to them and bonds can be built (even stronger ones!) that help them and you feel love, respect and care towards each other.

Over a series of sessions you will be able to connect so well with your baby that you will see your uncertainties turn into a positive anticipatory experience for your future with your baby.

Is the process suitable for fathers/close relatives too?
Whilst I have only done the process with mothers and babies, there are facilitators who have been able to help fathers (or a second parent/close relative) to also be able to communicate with their baby. I am happy to try this.
